On Monday of this week, Judge Jeffrey Brown issued a 55-page Order (the "Order") on the Motion to Dismiss filed by MLS and PSV. As expected, the motion was denied, but I fail to understand how [...]

PETE REID SPEAKS ON THE LEGAL IMPLICATIONS OF ‘TAKING A KNEE’
On November 15 2017, Pete Reid presented a CLE on the legal issues associated with ‘Taking a Knee’ together with TJ Martin of the Austin Black Lawyers Association. The event discussed both the sports law and civil rights issues regarding taking a knee in the NFL.
Pete has been my attorney for almost 7 years and has been instrumental in assisting me on an array of legal matters. What sets him apart from the rest is the fact that he is genuinely caring, compassionate, personable, and extremely competent. In fact, other attorneys should look to him as the exemplary example. His responses to my inquiries are always lightening-fast, and he has always provided me with excellent results (we win each legal matter every single time)!! Should I ever need to hire an attorney in the future, Pete is the only lawyer I trust to handle my cases. Oh, and by the way, I proudly wear his hat! #bestattorneyever
We will forever be thankful for your never ending tenacity and blessed that we came to know you. You were our attorney, at times our therapist, but by the end you felt like a friend. Thank you Pete, for all you do.
Pete is very good at what he does. He’s great at writing statements and filings, of course, but he’s also great at understanding a case and seeing it from different perspectives. Both times I worked with him he pointed out things I hadn’t considered. He’s also very friendly and engaging. For example, your phone calls with him are never stressful. Part of that is his great sense of humor.
I have had ongoing issues with my property management company that could not be resolved. The amount in question which was a huge amount for me, was not worth most lawyers time to speak with me. Finally I found Pete Reid who took the time to give me solid council regarding my options, the merits of my case, and agreed to represent me. He unlike many other lawyers was upfront with me without overcharging me for his time. I cannot recommend Pete enough for his honesty, transparency and integrity when such things are in seemingly short supply.
I can’t thank you enough! I wish you were my divorce attorney. ? You have been outstanding, and your communication with me has been amazing! Thank you so much! You’re the best!
Just wanted to let you know that we are very grateful for your work. I am so glad that you were “the one” to help us! They say things happen for a reason. I haven’t figured that one out yet, but I do know that because of this we got to meet you, and for that we are very grateful. You put my mind at ease and made me feel much better. You are a good person and great at what you do.
